What Respite Service options are available?

Respite guests may receive services in the:

  • Beautiful home settings located in Campbellford or Cobourg
  • Comfort of their own home
  • Community

This is a great opportunity for Respite guests to try something new and exciting based on personal choice and interest!

Respite Services at Community Living Campbellford/Brighton are available through government-funded programs AND on a fee-for-service basis.

Costs include accommodation, meals, mileage and recreation expenses (if desired) during the stay.

Individual Residential Care

Sometimes it is not possible for children and youth with an intellectual disability to live at home. A negotiated Individual Residential Care agreement is made with the natural family for the child to live in an associate home setting that is based on individual circumstances and the support required.

Individual Residential Care provides a range of services from basic accommodation, care and supervision to specialized programs for children and youth with complex needs or who are medically fragile.
