In support of people with developmental disabilities
Fostering meaningful inclusions & participation
Established in 1960, Inclusion Northumberland is a non-profit organization that fosters meaningful inclusion and participation for people with developmental disabilities throughout Northumberland County and the surrounding area. In 1960, Inclusion Northumberland’s founding parent dreamed that her daughter would live in an inclusive community at a time when doctors recommended provincial institutions. We believe, as Mary Cook did, that people with developmental disabilities have the right to live in and participate in their community.
